Is your tallow grass-fed?
Yes, our tallow comes from grass-fed and grass-finished cows. Exactly the way it should be: pure, nutrient-rich, and top-quality.
Where does your tallow come from?
Our tallow is sourced from a certified organic butcher in Limburg, who works closely with local farmers. We use fat from grass-fed Black Angus cows — a conscious choice for both quality and traceability.
Do you use organic ingredients?
Whenever possible, we choose organic ingredients. It’s better for you, and better for the planet.
Do your products contain perfume or synthetic fragrances?
Nope. Most of our products are available in an unscented version — no added fragrances at all. For scented products, we only use pure essential oils.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. That’s exactly who we make them for. Our formulas are simple, nourishing, and gentle. And for those who are extra sensitive, we offer unscented versions without any irritants.
How long do your products last?
Our products have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months after opening.
Should I store the cream in the fridge?
No, please don’t. Tallow is a firm fat, much like butter. Keep your product at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and out of the fridge, to keep it smooth and spreadable.
Are your products safe for children or during pregnancy?
Yes, all of our products are safe to use during pregnancy and suitable for little ones too.
Can I use the tallow products on my face?
Absolutely. Many of our customers use them as a daily face cream, nighttime moisturizer, or even lip balm.
Are your containers reusable or recyclable?
Yes. We use glass jars and metal tins wherever possible — reusable, recyclable, and they look great on your shelf too.
Do you package plastic-free?
We minimize plastic as much as we can and are always working to improve. Sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we're committed to doing better with every step.
How fast do you ship?

Bestellungen aus dem Rest der Welt, die vor 18:00 Uhr (MEZ) eingehen, werden am selben Tag mit GLS versendet, abhängig von Lagerbestand und unvorhergesehenen Umständen.
Can I return my order?
Yes, returns are accepted as long as the item is unopened and in its original packaging. Return shipping is at your own expense — Dutch Heritage Cosmetics does not cover return costs.
Do you ship internationally?
We sure do! We ship worldwide, bringing a little Dutch Heritage to wherever you are.
